in 1973, the late Dr. Park Chue Chan, MD, and his wife, Oi Jen Tain, established the Grace Foundation. As missionaries, Dr. and Mrs. Chan devoted their lives to healing the bodies, minds, and souls of underprivileged persons in China and other developing countries. They strongly believed in providing opportunities for medical care, education, and most importantly, developing a strong Christian faith.

  • One year scholarships for full or partial payment of tuition costs for full time attendance at an accredited college or university. Award amounts range up to $4000 (not to exceed tuition costs) and depend on each student’s financial need and availability of Foundation funds each year. Scholarship funds are not applicable toward room and board or travel expenses. Scholarship funds are sent directly to the student’s college, university or seminary.
  • Annual award renewals for up to four years contingent upon maintenance of a 3.0 GPA and satisfactory reports to the Foundation. Awards will not be given for continuing studies beyond the degree program originally specified.
